Two Sundays ago my long time friend Rita came to visit. She brought her cute little boy Dennis. He is about 6 months older than our baby boy, but remarkably, they are the same size. They were so cute playing together in the sprinkler. It was wonderful to visit with Rita. We only get to see her about 2 times a year.
To celebrate Independence Day, we went to the fireworks at Thanksgiving Point. It is so awesome there. We bring our little grill and have a picnic. Brett's dad and brothers came, and later my sister Rachel came with her fiance Skyler and two of his friends. We had hamburgers, salad, and a fabulous all American apple pie! Yummy!
The sunset was gorgeous.
Then they shot off the fireworks. Usually they last longer but it was really windy. They were so pretty. Bryce really liked them.
He is awake, just blinking. The fourth of July is my favorite holiday. I love the picnics, the fireworks, the songs everything. It is the ultimate summer day. I love it. We had a wonderful time.
